The founder and owner of Woodridge Contracting, Chris Gosselin is a Windsor born man who started in the Construction field at the young age of 19. Having a natural talent to work with wood structures and a fascination for design and art, Chris unsurprisingly found his path as a licensed carpenter. Throughout the years he has furthered his passion for carpentry and studied the areas of auto-cad, architecture as well as art and design. Chris has gained valuable experience in all areas of carpentry and woodworking by traveling throughout Ontario and as far as Calgary to broaden himself in his trade. Learning how to work within his field in different environments and studying various techniques allows Chris to address client’s needs and projects outside of his immediate geographical area. Through his experience and enthusiasm for carpentry Chris has also gained the opportunity to teach his craft and pass on his knowledge of the carpentry trade by teaching at the local college. With his vast knowledge of techniques, products and materials Chris guides Woodridge Contracting to excel in all areas dealing with wood including cabinets, custom furniture and designs, renovations, framing of houses , porches, decks, fences...well anything dealing with wood.
Although Woodridge Contracting is a mobile company with the ability to travel quickly up the 401, Chris has his roots planted within the Windsor Essex Community, along with his wife Kelly Gosselin, and son William Christopher Gosselin. Raising a young family in this area, gives Chris another unique understanding of the needs from his clients who are working to create a warm and alluring home setting. Having a deep appreciation for his trade, Chris takes immense pride in giving his customers the “attention to detail” service which you only deserve.
